Amy and Sam came to us with dreams of making their basement into a bright, cozy retreat. In addition, their basement bathroom and guest bedroom needed a refresh so their visiting family members would feel at home. MB4 Studio designed an open floor plan for the family room with thoughtful attention to the use of space, then NordHaus worked with the homeowners to demo the existing basement all the way to the concrete block! When the remodel was finished, Amy and Sam were excited to find that the new windows brought in lots of natural light which made the room feel spacious and bright, even in the middle of winter. The Klimoski’s basement is now a place of cozy comfort in the wintertime, a play space for the kids, and the perfect spot for movies or game night!
